Q. What if I am unsure of where to ship the food gift?
A. No problem! In the checkout process. provide us with the recipients email and telephone number. We make personal contact with all recipients, to immediately notify them of your thoughtful gift and to arrange a delivery date. Sometimes, especially after a death or funeral, a family is overwhelmed with food and flower deliveries and they would welcome your gift and appreciate the option of receiving it a couple of days or a week later....that way they can appreciate it more and it can truly be beneficial to them. No matter what the delivery schedule....your friend will know immediately that you are thinking of them.
Q. Is Sympathyfood.com™ just for individuals who have experienced a death or loss?
A. No, sympathy has a lot of connotations. Many of our orders go to individuals that have been ill, experienced recent surgery or are recovering from some other disability. It's even a welcome gift for mothers who have recently given birth. Remember, the card that is included, from you, explains who it is from and any message for the occasion.
Q. What if I don't know what type of foods my friend really enjoys?
A. Send a gift certificate and let them decide. Either way they will be so pleased with your thoughtful and useful gift.
